Okay, I switched out its PCI slot, and now, under devices, instead of seeing "Unkown Device", I see "IEEE 1394 Bus host controllers". However, I get this problem: "This device cannot start. (Code 10)"

It doesn't show up under devices and printers. I don't really have another one to try, but I could try flipping it out for another one. I'll do that now.

Do you have any other case fans with a cable long enough to plug into the port? Any fan that will plug into the port will tell you if the motherboard's fan powering is working or not.
