    Best Budget Mechanical Keyboards

I use the Logitech K840 on my sim rig, very reliable and feels like it doesn't need a lot of force to push keys down. I use a K70 on main PC and I have to type a little harder. PS- look into Azio mechanical keyboard, maybe they don't make them anymore but it's pretty good too but uses Kahil...

[SOLVED] Is a new CPU worth it?

Yes absolutely, Ryzen 5 5600X is worth it and the price has been dropping steadily. Ryzen 5 3600 is also good for a little less. But depending on what you do with your PC, maybe a lower end CPU would be cheaper if you don't play a lot of games which Intel has a handful of, i3 10100 or i5...

News Scalping Pricing Trends Suggest Ryzen 5000 Supply Improving

Yup, I'm thinking of throwing my 1070Ti on eBay to see how far it goes, I got lucky with my local store getting some shipments of RX 6800. I ordered a 3070 back in November and got tired of waiting while hearing about people around my area ordering theirs in Jan and getting it 2 weeks later, so...

[SOLVED] 75 FPS in BF1 at 1080p with GTX 1080ti

The RAM mixing seems odd, that *could* be the culprit, you need RAM in pairs, otherwise that one 8GB stick would be underperoforming.

CPU 85 degrees after 10 minutes gaming

That's common with laptops, you can get a good quality chillpad to put underneath the laptop to help it run cooler. And yes i7 7700 CPUs do run hot, mine does and I fixed it by downvolting it to a fixed voltage a little.

GTX 1060 now or 1070 Ti in a month?

I'd probably get a new PSU first, it loses efficiency over time and a 9 year old PSU wouldn't be healthy for a new GPU. And I'd say wait and get the 1070Ti, it's a fairly big jump from a 1060 and is newer.

hey im wandering if 1070 is enough...

Yes 1070 is more than enough for 1440p, my RX 580 (which is lower than 1070 is) handles 1440p at ~100-120fps depending on game so you should be fine.

Gtx 1080ti went up in smoke as well as motherboard

I didn't see mention of power supply brand, that plays a huge part in why this happened. Sucks for this to happen on such an expensive setup.

Good choice on that motherboard, 6+3 phase will let you OC that 1400 a bit.
