News Nvidia to spend hundreds of billions on U.S.-made chips, confirms Blackwell GPU production at TSMC Arizona

You can't make that argument with AMD alone, their datacenter business exploded so they shifted resources from gaming to there to make more money because amd makes very good margin on server while everything else is pretty low for them, so it is the right thing to do. The amount of gaming...

    Question IDE HardDrive Reader ?

Whoa there, that's just to show what you can connect, not that you can connect all of them at once.

    Question IDE HardDrive Reader ?

Maybe drivespace, where the whole disk was real time compressed. That could proof difficult to read. But the drive would still be readable it would just only have one big file on it, basically a compressed disk image. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DriveSpace

    Question IDE HardDrive Reader ?

Their own brick might not be enough to power an old big drive and could overheat and even break. A PC PSU is a safe bet for no worries. Anything that can be written on an IDE standard drive can be read by a modern system, as long as they are pc drives.

Question Correct way To install RAM In an old motherboard ?

Yup, this is the only downside but it would be so marginal that it's not worth worrying about. If all the ram shows up then you are ok.

Question How can I confirm my Bios undervolt in Windows?

https://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=6849.0 It's not the settings you thought it is... It's a gigabyte specific thing that needs some deep diving.

[SOLVED] How to re-enable an integrated Graphics Card?

Any display port on a laptop is an output not an input. Try the monitor on every connector of your mobo and gpu, both during booting but also when the system is booted up, missing display will not stop windows from booting. Also try removing the battery for longer.

Question Correct way To install RAM In an old motherboard ?

What is it you want to us to tell you?! Because it seems you already did what you wanted. You maxed out the mobo to 4Gb, what am I missing?! The reading of the bios is correct but that doesn't mean that the OS can use 4Gb, 32bit windows XP was limited to 3Gb.

Question Is it safe to update the BIOS on an ASRock motherboard with an Intel CPU ?

Keep in mind that there is always a danger with upgrading bios especially if you are in a region where brownouts let alone black outs can happen, if the PC loses power you might end up with a brick. If the mobo has flashback then it is quite a bit safer to do updates...

Question Cant install windows 11 on new build

Actually install or are you trying to boot from an install of an older system?! If you are using an older disk with an installation already on it then you might not have the bios set up correctly to boot from usb and it tries to start from disk. Other option is that you need drivers for the ssd...

Question Monitor randomly turning off with a brand new 9070 XT and 9800X3D ?

It's not about the power draw, a motor turning on can cause a voltage drop or even just noise, a PC PSU will be able to cope with that but not every monitor or other electronics can. You can read more here and as always google is you friend...

Question Monitor randomly turning off with a brand new 9070 XT and 9800X3D ?

Check to see what other plugs your room/wall plug is shared with, if it's on the same circuit as an air condition unit or a fridge or something with a big motor then it might lose signal sometimes when the motor turns on.

News Nvidia to spend hundreds of billions on U.S.-made chips, confirms Blackwell GPU production at TSMC Arizona

I don't see it as different. They will get electronics that will be worth 0.5T... for them, If they sell them at current prices. They don't make them for themselves, so it wouldn't make any sense for him to mean the price of manufacturing, they always make them to sell them so if they don't...

News Microsoft says DirectX Raytracing 1.2 will deliver up to 2.3x performance uplift

It is a software thing as in somebody has to code for the specific hardware in AMD cards, but outside of consoles is there anybody that has any urge to do it? And the resources of course. Maybe steam/valve could but they are using linux so why should they bother.

News Microsoft says DirectX Raytracing 1.2 will deliver up to 2.3x performance uplift

Whut?! The only vendor agnostic standard would be software rendering and that would be terrible. You have to use the hardware to make it fast and that hardware is going to change from one to the other. If they make a standard for certain hardware then hardware will not progress anymore for fear...
