Generally a 4 pin is fine for a lower end CPU, with the onboard graphics in use it will prob need the 8 pin It was working fine with 4 pins but i will try to get a better psu. My build was working fine before i updated the bios on the motherboard. What other problems can it be?

My psu doesn't have a 8 pin. But the motherboard manual says 4 pin is ok
