Thanks, I saw that a while back but couldn't install the software because it was made for Windows 7 and 8. In the absence of the software the battery should charge normally but iny case it just won't recognise the official charger.

Thanks, this part seem to work for now: "Open Device Manager Expand the Keyboards section Right click your keyboard and choose 'Uninstall' Then restart your PC" - I did manage to get it working in a previous case of this but it ended up reverting back, only time will tell.

I'm on a Windows 10 Pro desktop using Sophos Home anti-virus. Edit: There are no stuck keys using the keyboard tester. When I tested it in Chrome it worked fine but when I tested it in Edge the random key outputs started again. The on screen keyboard works fine too.
