    Why don't you try to boot up Windows 7 indstead of Win xp ? ... Win 7 has better protocols for dealing with hardware. it is a Intel® Core™2 Duo Processor T5500, which make it an x64 bit processor so a x64 bit version of Windows 7 would be a great upgrade from win xp. you can't run any newer...
