No, I came from intel to the x570 platform and ryzen so it was fresh. Latest bios is installed ( the 7th November version ) and amd chipset de-icers upto date. I did a complete fresh install of windows wipe and reinstall when I changed to ryzen

Aww Are you suggesting faulty cable? Just as I used this cable on my old 1070 before I upgraded to 2070 and didn’t have the stuttering issues then so I don’t think it is the cable but if I can find a spare one can give it a try
