    HighPoint RocketRAID 2320 experience...

I tried boot to MS-DOS using a floppy, I can see all the RAID partitions including my RAID5 partitions. Which means the card works even without the drivers. But it was EXTREMELY slow when reading/writing from the RAID5 under MS-DOS. The 2310 or something is fake raid which just pretends to be...

    HighPoint RocketRAID 2320 experience...

The reason for you poor performance is probably due to your motherboard. Most boards don't provide even 4x speeds in the PCIe slots. There are usually less number of lanes on the board than there are slots (even legacy PCI slots take up 1 lane). Generally if you have a graphics card in the 16x...

Want to loosen RAM timings - Not working

I got it running at CAS 6. It seems that the Common Performance Level also increases when you increase the latencies. I had manually set mine at 8 when using CAS 5. I bumped it up to 9 and it works.

Want to loosen RAM timings - Not working

I dont want to tighten the timings. I want to loosen them so that I can get the FSB up to 450 or so. What values do I use for the sub-timings? That is the remaining values below the 5-5-5-18. If I leave it on auto then it just sticks to the stock values which won't be stable if I OC anymore.

Want to loosen RAM timings - Not working

I've got the Corsair TWIN2X4096-6400C5DHX (Should I regret buying this instead of CAS 4 RAM ?). The default speeds on auto are 5-5-5-18, with a TRFC of 42 (forgot the other values). The rated voltage is 1.80v. I've manually forced only these above 5 values to prevent the BIOS from changing them...

    Corsair HX620's Maximum Load?

My UPS software shows the wattage being drawn. For my current setup it shows 250w idle and 360w in gaming. According to that I think my new setup should draw atleast 500w ?

    Corsair HX620's Maximum Load?

I have an APC Back-UPS RS 1000VA (620w). What would happen if I ran my computer on this UPS with the 750w PSU? I presume it would overload only if I was gaming or something.

How good are these specs? Any recommendations?

Ok I checked with local shops. They only have ThermalRight and Cooler Master. From what I've read, Cooler Master is crap. Any specific ThermalRight Coolers that you can recommend?
