What parts are compatible with RGB controllers and RGB-capable motherboards?

I don't think I understand. You just said that I need strips that specifically support Asus Aura but I also need to check if the headers are compatible. Would I be able to use any RGB LED strip provided that the headers match (4-pin RGB lighting and 3-pin Addressable RGB lighting)?

What parts are compatible with RGB controllers and RGB-capable motherboards?

Say I bought an Asus motherboard that supports Aura RGB, would I be able to hook up any 4-pin RGB LED strip or would I need to buy LED strips that specifically support Aura Sync? Also, as I have noticed, most motherboards have have only 1-2 RGB headers. If I wanted to plug in more than two RGB...

    Screen Tearing with V-sync On

Yeah I'm using Fast sync. I've tried all the other options and none of them help. I have it set to Fast just because I read somewhere that it is superior to normal and adaptive V-Sync.

    Screen Tearing with V-sync On

I'm getting screen tear in games even with V-sync turned on. I'm getting a solid 60 fps. I can "fix" it by setting an unlimited frame rate in game, but that keeps my CPU hammered at 100% and causes the fans to go at full speed. In addition, the tearing isn't fully gone, just less noticeable. Any...

    i5-4690k Still Relevant?

I'm wanting to upgrade from 8 to 16GBs RAM and a graphics card capable of pushing 120+ frames at 1080p when I upgrade (in the future) to a high refresh rate monitor. What I'm wondering is, should upgrade the whole system while I'm at it? My CPU is still great especially when overclocked to...

Cheap Sound Card Instead of Onboard?

Its the Asrock Z97M Anniversary. I might have just been lucky but my mobo is still working a year after the onboard audio failed. I've been using HDMI passthrough since, but I want to use my headphone's mic and HDMI pass through AFAIK doesn't support mics.

intel i3 core third gen, gtx 750, fps average?

In 1080p? Probably 40-50 fps on low settings with frequent stutters. Just a rough estimate though.

    CPU Temperature Problem

The high temps don't seem to be just limited to the CPU. The motherboard temperature is also rather high. I'd clean out the dust inside the case and replace the CPU's thermal paste. Try raising the fan curve as well.

Cheap Sound Card Instead of Onboard?

My onboard audio decided to quit on me so I'm looking into buying a sound card. I have a micro ATX with no spare PCI slots so USB is my only option. Would a cheap $5 audio to USB converter off eBay be good enough or should I get a big brand one for a bit more? Good surround sound is not...

Is My Power Supply Enough for These Two Cards?

I have a 500W Antec Earthwatt PSU with a combined 408W max load on its two 12V rails. I'm looking to run a Radeon HD 7950 and a GTX 760 for hashing (no, not cryptomining). The 7950 draws 200W while the GTX 760 draws 170W. Is my power supply enough to keep these cards running at 100% for...

Gaming purpose and not gonna overclock. Which one is better? i5 8600k or i7 8700 or i7 8700k

The i7 8700k is the king of gaming at the moment. However, if you are not planning on overclocking, I wouldn't waste money on an overclock-able CPU and just get the non-k version. The i5-8600k is pretty decent and has a better price to performance ratio. But it all really comes down to how...
