hmmm...the startup settings are not there. Maybe because I access these settings via bootable USB with Windows 10?

Oh, and I forgot to mention: after all the methods I tried I now get another error, saying "Reboot and Select proper Boot device or Insert Boot Media in selected Boot device and press a key." So I guess I made the situation even worse.

@traxxmy I have already tried both methods but unfortunately without success. My PC does not even boot in safe mode. I guess I will give the method #2 a second try.
