You could try shutting it down, removing the cable and battery momentarily and holding the start key for around a minute. After this, put the battery in and see what happens. Not guaranteed but can work quite often

Thanks for your help, my motherboard is an Asus M5A97 EVO R2.0 I can run some new games without problems and others awfully, I often struggle with huge open areas and entering new areas. Thanks again

Hello everyone, I am considering some upgrades but am unsure if a new rig is the better option. To be honest, i'm not even sure what parts need replacing but assume it's the CPU and possibly the GPU. I would like to upgrade both and, if possible. avoid the need for additional ram, power etc...

I have been told my CPU may need improving due to bottlenecking. I was also advised to buy an SSD. I am on a budget so have wondered if the SSD would reduce CPU strain, or should i prioritise buying a new CPU first? Budget is currently £150. Secondly, i am unsure which SSD to buy to be sure...
