I just updated the firmware for the dock but it still didn't make it work.

Ah okay, thankyou for that. I've tried to find the driver for the dock online but not having much luck. Is the driver for the dock the only one I need or are there others required? Any help appreciated.

I thought they just installed automatically when the dock plugged in the first time?

Not sure how to test the first bit sorry? But I tried a HP Dragonfly with the same USB C cable and it worked perfectly. I must be missing a driver or something?
