AMD's "Never Settle" Bundles Games with 7000 Series GPUs

AnonymousDownload codesLost interest there. Gimme a disk, not some silly code. Last time I entered a code and started downloading, there was an interrupt in my download and it wouldn't let me try it again. Lame. Last I checked, they were Steam "CD" keys, so it shouldn't be a huge issue.

Microsoft Urging Customers To Disable Windows Gadgets

balisterSome of them are kind of handy. I run the MS CPU/Memory gadget so I can know what's going on at any given time with CPU and Memory resources without having to go to Task Manager. I also run the MS Weather gadget that can be configured to show the predicted weather for the next few days...

Rumor: Xbox 720 to Have 'Ridiculously Powerful' 16-Core CPU

blazorthonIt's not pointless, it's just vague. At least we know the rumored generation of the GPU here. We could simply have been given nothing at all and wonder if it's even a DX11 GPU or not. Fair enough, though if they didn't pick something DX11-capable they would be crazy.

Rumor: Xbox 720 to Have 'Ridiculously Powerful' 16-Core CPU

oxiideIt'll "pack something along the lines of AMD's Radeon 7000-series." Wow, that narrows it down. BRB, Upgrading my 6970 to 7750! Seriously, what a pointless "detail."

Rumor: Xbox 720 to Have 'Ridiculously Powerful' 16-Core CPU

I call BS. The extra cores in the devkit are likely just to help out with debugging and what not. Assuming that they mean a 16-threaded CPU, I don't think there would be much you could do with that many threads in a console. (Physics, input handling, world controlling, AI, collision detection...

Nine External Thunderbolt Storage Devices, Rounded Up

You might want to fix the title of the G-RAID, as I don't think an array of HDDs totaling at 8GB would be particularly useful.

Valve Pulls Sex Game From Steam Greenlight

falchardI thought they removed it because it used copyrighted material. However, thanks to this I have thought of a potentially successful Steam Competitor. A platform that mimics steam with strictly sexually mature content. By god I will be a millionaire. Time to make a kickstarter project...

Valve Pulls Sex Game From Steam Greenlight

My only guess to the whole "violence=OK, sex=NO" thing is that absurd violence like that in games is either impossible or absurdly difficult to replicate IRL. A person is more likely to get into a sexual relationship without properly understanding the risks and consequences than they are to find...
