dual channel ram or quad channel for a mobo having two dimm slots?

The Site says quad channel as in the fast that the ram stick supports quad channel, which is a bit confusing for it to be in the title. I would recommend you buy 2x4GB Sticks, or if you think you might upgrade to 16GB later on, just get 1x8GB now.

    4970K vs 8700K

It depends. I doubt you it has anything to do with bottlenecking. The i7 4970k is still a powerful processor when overclocked. The i7 8700k will likely give you better frames though. It all depends if its worth it to you. You'd have to buy a new RAM and say goodbye to that 32gb of ram you got...

Intel Core i3 8350k or Upcoming AMD Ryzen APUs?!

I haven't heard of any such "Brick", probably doesn't exist. The i3-8250k is only worth it if you plan on overclocking, for which you will need a decent aftermarket cooler. I would recommend the the i5 8400 is you don't have much experience overclocking and would probably recommend it otherwise...

Best AM3 Gaming CPU under 150$

You cant get an upgrade with that budget. That platform is dead. The only option in that budget is too downgrade to an FX 6300 which i would say is a bad idea and a waste of money and a wouldnt consider an option at all. Option 1: Good Upgrade (MUCH better performance than FX 8350 for gaming)...

    Coffee Lake Build

I've recently purchased an i5 8400 as well. I faced a few problems, to which i solved by reinstalling windows. ( Although its now not completely required to re-install windows, its highly recommend) To answer your other questions, the i5 8400 runs at 2.8Ghz Base Clock, with Turbo boost to...

Is it true that an 8th gen laptop can be made to maintain high frequency with Intel Xtreme tuning utility?

You would be sacrificing battery life and overall laptop lifespan. I probably wouldn't go for the that exact laptop anyways. May I know what would be the primary tasks of the laptop and what country you live is so i can further assist you on your decision. I own an Acer Swift 3 with the i5...

EVGA GTX 1060 6GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Water Cooling

I think I'm going to go for this, it seems to be a great GPU cooler and fits most latest cards, so it doesn't seem like a lot of money to spend to cool just a GTX 1060.

EVGA GTX 1060 6GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Water Cooling

Alright. I'm probably going to make a mineral oil tank for the GPU then. BTW, is that the KM780R on your signature photo? I got the same one.

EVGA GTX 1060 6GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 Water Cooling

Hi there, I'm looking for a water cooling block for my card. I am making a graphics amplifier for a laptop and I want the case for it to be as small as possible, and the fan noise and temps to be low. I've found many waterblocks for other GTX 1060 cards, yet i cannot find one for this one. I'm...

    External Laptop GPU Stuff

Thanks for the help, I'm probably going to a make a larger opening underneath my laptop vents so that the cable for the miniPCIE can easily pass through without me having to leaver the underneath open. I'm going to try and figure out if i can solder a shorter miniPCIE cable to the vents from the...
