Under 3d settings it will not click on that. It says SLI disabled. Shows both cards but I cannot change it

Okay so both cards were recognized both cards. It is the correct SLI . Do I have to run two hdmi cables to monitor? One from each card? The one card shows the monitor over it but second card doesn't .

yes. I just updated the drivers again just in case. Because I just built my first system a few weeks ago I'm still sorta new to this. I'm using the do cable that came with monitor. Going to get a good hdmi today. Not sure if that matters

Yes I've been in the Nvidia control panel but the enable sli will not press. But it shows both cards. But there is no green line under the cards .maybe my SLI cable is bad?

Okay so i installed two MSI GTX 970's and put the SLI cable on. Both cards show up as one and two in my Nvidia control panel. The disable SLI button is clicked. When i try to click on the Maximize 3D performance button it does nothing. Seems I'm unable to SLI my cards. Im running them on 1 4K...

And this is wear I'm torn. If it will help even just a bit then I'm okay with getting it. If it's just sonething that makes system look better, I guess I can wait. I personally would like to do it. I thought if exchanging it for a 980 .

Okay so I'm using an Acer 28inch Gsync 4k gaming monitor. I have a single MSI 970 gtx gaming 4g card and was thinking of adding a second one. Will this actually benefit me to run two 970's on this. The graphics are pretty stunning on BF4 but if I can benefit from a second card then I'm on it...
