I just bought a Ryzen 7 5800x to replace my Ryzen 5 2600. I originally thought I had to download a new bios and install it after I installed my new cpu, but of course I was wrong because you're supposed to update your bios before putting in the new cpu. When I had the new cpu in, my screen was...
so basically what I'm reading at is that I need to get a usb flash drive and go to the msi website and download the latest bios for my motherboard. Then reboot into the bios menu and install the flash drive file??

Okay I will try this tomorrow. I wouldn't think it would bottleneck, plus I've searched up if my specs would somehow bottleneck my gpu, but everything said I'd be good.
I recently upgraded from a 1050ti to a 3060 about 2 months ago. I could instantly see a performance/fps boost (I think). Now in the past few weeks I've noticed my games aren't running at the fps nearly of what the 3060 is capable of. Any suggestions or help would help a lot.
