I don't really understand, my GPU is fully plugged into the PSU, and the only labels for the female connectors coming out of the PSU are for the 24 pin MB, CPU 1 and 2, SATA, PERF, and VGA 1 and 2. I have the VGA power cable connected to VGA 1 and all the female pins on the GPU are plugged...
Yes, I've tried VGA 1 and VGA 2 on the power supply, I have also replaced the power supply. I don't have a pcie riser cable it's just plugged directly into the board slot.

Yes, I'm using the x16 slot is nearest to the CPU, and I'm using the most recent BIOS version from their website. The PCIE x16 link speed is set to auto. The GPU works in the second PCIE slot, I believe it's the x8 slot.
