    New build advice and thoughts

    The motherboard will work, but with your current parts I would highly recommend a z270 board. You picked an overclockable cpu with a chipset that doesn't support it, if you don't plan on overclocking then I would save some money and go for the non K sku version.

    The build looks good, and while I personally love 21:9 and only have had two games not support it (Dark Souls 3 and CS:GO), the GTX 1050 may struggle to give you good frame rates. Also keep in mind future upgradability of the system if you did want to get more graphical power.

    I just upgraded my computer from an A10-5800k to a i5-4460 without losing any data. I just had to install new drivers and the only problem I have encountered is that windows message center says I have no chipset drivers.
