If you have the money, go for it! If you ever wanted to do some minor gaming, you'd have a decent card too so there's that :) The card you linked is actually a GTX 970 not 960 but there are plenty of 960's that have 3 DP ports.

I'm not sure what case you're using so I can't say if the card will physically fit. Unfortunately the card isn't compatible with your PSU though. 970's typically require either two six pin PCI-E power cables or one six pin and one eight pin cable and your PSU only has one six pin PCI-E power...

*sigh* Lag spikes are back... It was fine this morning but I installed about 40 odd Windows updates and now it's getting lag spikes again... Does anyone have any idea what's going on??

So when using task manager during the lag spikes, nothing was spiking to 100% or anything, so I'm really not sure what's causing my problems. I downclocked the CPU to stock clocks, disabled my iGPU (was using for Intel Quick Sync), and then stopped using my texture pack. Turns out the lag spike...
