Hello guys, I have a question about the settings I used for overclocking my i5 4670k.
First let me tell you my system specs.

I5 4670k
Asus sabertooth z87.
corsair h105 AIO
corsair dominator platinum 8gb 2133mhz c9.
be - quit darkpower pro 10/1000w.
Cooler master haf X.

I have not much experience with overclocking on haswell, so I would like to now if these settings are oke for a 4.5ghz overclock.

ratio 45
llc level 6
power phase control optimized.
cpu current capability 120%
internal pll overvoltage enabled
vcore bios 1.1980v
cpu input voltage 1.8v
cpu spread disabled
Eist and c-states enabled, Disabled during stress testing.

did a 10 run itb test at very high settings to test if it was running with that low vcore.
did a few cpu benchmarks withit, and played a few games.

Looks pretty good to me man! I wish my CPU could do that but I can only get to 4.3Ghz without having stability issues =T A max temp of less than 90 in IBT is very nice too. Try it out in some games and if it's stable then job well done (you still have a little room on the voltage, maybe try for 4.6? 😛)!

I already played a couple of games, no problems.
I now that it will do with no problems 4.8ghz
I just did that for benchmarking, set the vcore to 1.285v and mp to 4.8ghz. al else on auto, so mayby with a bit of tweaking a could lower the vcore.
Its a engineering sample

After a few tests and failler, I found my 24/7 stable overclock at the lowest vcore I could run, itb and linx, benchmarking and playing games.
cpu was still at 4.5ghz and the vcore is set in bios at 1.190v in cpu-z it is showing 1.193v.
I think that is a very low vcore for a 4670k at 4.5ghz.
