CPU temp playing Skyrim on maximum setting was 49-54 degrees with major lag and very low fps, changing the graphical setting to low did not have any changes to the CPU temp although it completely removed the lag and the game was very smooth albeit so ugly on the eyes. I guess it is indeed GPU...

My almost 3 year old GTX 570 gave-out 2 days ago sending it for a RMA and i'm shopping for a reasonable replacement somewhere around $250 and something that will go well with my old CPU. The break down kinda caught me by surprise and i cant afford to purchase a completely new rig so i'm hoping...

Is it normal for the rpm of my stock Intel Fan for my i5-3550 to go up and down? What i mean is according to Asus Suite II Sensor Monitor the rmp goes up and down between 1094 and 1229 and actually if i look close enough at the fan when my pc is on i can actually see it changing speed every few...
