Nothing at all, everything continued as normal. I am thinking it might have been something with the power at home that night, but I'm not sure.

I'm wondering if it could be a gpu problem rather than PSU? Even if the noise I heard was the exact same noise I heard once from a damaged/failing/dying PSU once. Would really love some advice.

This seems to occur only in this game, and i have tested the gpu with Furmark and 3Dmark several times - no crashes/artifacts. I am at a loss here, friends who also play this game don't seem to have this weird vertical sync problem.

After turning off KBOOST, the games go back to normal without needing a restart. Very strange.
