Okay, so. I believe the windows easy transfer gives me a .pst file which I can extract to get the information I need, yes? I hear outlook is hard to get running on windows 7, but outlook 2010 will be fine to use on 7.

Does the "Windows easy transfer" software from microsoft apply to windows 7 and xp? I would like to transfer files from windows XP to windows 7, and the person I'm doing this for, needs to have 0 data loss, and be able to use his computer as normal, afterwards.
