So are the odds its taken another component? Because this is a nightmare, literally spent all my money on the card and now the psu is dead. And it was only after it broke I realised its cheap as shit as my friend built my PC for me.

But dont most motherboards have a cut off to stop spikes from the power supply overloading components?

So today got my new gtx 760 and swapped it with my amd 7770, now my motherboard is a good one and my CPU is also, yet my PSU, well...embarrassingly it now prevails to be the cheapest thing in my PC. Do you think an alpine (supposedly) 700w power supply would have taken out the other components...

i have had my pc for 5 months, it used to run fine but now it lags and stutters to the point i cant play online or offline. i am only using medium settings and i try low and its still the same, i used to be able to play high. all the drivers are up to date. 8gb RAM windows 7 amd A8 processor...
