low, quiet vibration from hard drive

I hear a quiet, low vibration in the case, which comes and goes. I heard this before, and posted a thread before on here. The conclusion was a bad power supply, which is no shocker because it was a very low-quality unit. I replaced it with a new one (https://goo.gl/PFjTcq). This resolved it...

Low vibration, black screen on boot. Please help!! power supply issue?

Update 2: The flashing underscore was caused by it trying to boot off of my secondary drive (the Seagate). I must have accidentally shuffled the boot order around. "I used to use Start Menu 8. It will bring back the classic start menu. Another called Classic Shell if you're interested." Thanks a million! I didn't think that there might be third-party software for just this scenario. Classic Shell is working beautifully.

How do I turn off full screen start menu?

The main idea is in the title. I have a practically ancient HP 2000 Notebook. I recently did a full factory reset on it and have upgraded to Windows 8.1. I spent a while on the phone with a Microsoft rep overseas somewhere to no avail. I know that I can switch back and forth in tablet mode in...

    HELP!!! Windows 10 reboot loop

I just built a brand new computer, installed Windows 10, played on it a bit , and it interrupted me with an error message. I can't remember what it said, but then it just powered down. I pressed the lower button, and it just loops on and off, without even displaying anything on the monitor.

    Dell Optiplex 360 Form Factor

I own an old Dell business computer, the Dell Optiplex 360. After reading the service manual and calling Dell Tech Support for hours, all I could find out about the form factor is that it is a "mini tower". I would like to know the normal form factor (Micro ATX, ATX, etc.) because I am...
