    Thanks for your reply Sxino. Yeah maybe I'm being a wimp not wanting to overclock. I want this system to be as stable as possible, so thats why I thought overclocking was a bad idea for me. Hate the idea of losing some unsaved work because I tried to get the system 1% quicker.

    Thank you for your reply Calvin7. You found the exact memory I bought - CMK32GX4M2A2666C16 Thanks I have now turned on XMP profile in bios to enable it to run at 2666Mhz. Do you think I bought the correct RAM to run as fast as it can but not overclocked with a 9900k? I'm still learning...

    I have XMP turned off currently. Would you recommend I turn it on? The bios says XMP is for overclocking, which I don't want to do as I want this to be a stable workstation computer. Thanks!
