    Z270 Killer & DDR4 @ 3000Mhz (4x4GB)

Specs So on my old motherboard, Z170 Gaming K4, I was able to run G.Skill Ripjaws Gaming DDR4 3000 Mhz 16 GB (4x4GB) fine, no problem. On my new board, Z270 Killer, that's suddenly not plausible? I can only get POST with two sticks. So naturally, I thought it could be a faulty stick, but...

New mobo, no signal on monitors

This morning, I tried connecting a monitor directly to integrated card with GPU unseated entirely. Works on both motherboards. So the culprit is my GPU, GTX 970 (falsely wrote it as 960 previously). Is there anything to try and test anymore, or is the card a lost cause at this point? Like...

New mobo, no signal on monitors

    Newer setup has i7-6700k and g.skill ripjaws 16gb DDR4 @3000Mhz. Older setup has i5-3570k and g.skill ripjaws 16gb DDR3 @ 1600Mhz. I have Corsair 750AX for PSU. Rest of the parts I listed above.

New mobo, no signal on monitors

So I have a rather curious issue. My new motherboard ASRock z270 killer doesn't seem to work. That, or my GTX 960 is suddenly busted, it still worked fine earlier today before switching parts. None of my monitors get signal from either GPU or Mobo's intergrated card. I've checked the...

    HDD died; recovery possible?

Although he's an official WD representative others vouched for WD Black as well on this topic. http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-2600773/2tb-internal-hard-drive.html#15634288 Seems like I'll be going with that. Cheers.

    HDD died; recovery possible?

Already did checkdisk with repair, didn't help. And SeaTools is somewhat useless as it won't recognize my HDD any longer, no? Reckon gotta start doing frequent backups from here on out as this seems like a lost case. What WD HDD I should get? Preferably another 2TB one.

    HDD died; recovery possible?

Model is Seagate 2TB HDD. No clue what happened but my HDD seems to have died. It's been acting up for a few days now and today after a reboot can't get it to work no more. On a few lucky times I can see it on boot menu as I restart, but I can't load into Windows with that (Windows on SSD)...

I bought BenQ XL2720Z, worth it?

Right, well the way I understood is that for 1440p gaming I'd need SLI / Crossfire or +$500 GPU. Currently I'm about to have GTX 970 which is great in it's own right but not powerful enough run games in high / ultra with high FPS @ 1440p. I've been using 1920x1080 for years and not looking to...

I bought BenQ XL2720Z, worth it?

So yesterday I put in an order for GTX 970 and 27" BenQ XL2720Z LED-Display 1080p @ 144Hz. Order was already processed and shipped, expecting it to arrive next Monday or Tuesday but I have some concerns about my choice with display. I was browsing through Tom's Hardware reviews and articles...

Upgrading rig, but what to upgrade? (Mobo & CPU vs GPU)

I'll go with 970. There appears to be few different GTX 970 models from both MSI and GigaByte. For instance, would this be a good model? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127832

Upgrading rig, but what to upgrade? (Mobo & CPU vs GPU)

I'm in a pickle here. I'm debating should I upgrade my mobo and CPU or just GPU? For instance, The Witcher 3 is giving me a bit hard time, though it's mostly because AMD has had horrendous track record with new game releases and post drivers for them. I found out that my CPU should be decent...

    R9 280X - Cannot have 3 monitors

I'm not an active member of the community, so didn't check back here for quite some time. However that sounds like best path to go with this, kudos.
