I originally thought it was temp of the CPU but managed to rule this out after applying some new thermal paste. Temps more stable on that now. The GPU however(before adjusting fans manually) would reach 70+ on the likes of Rocket League. I will look into adjusting the fan curve. Thank you...

Just to update, After decreasing the clock speed on the core and memory and increasing the fans to run at 60% constantly aswell as capping frames to 144. The GPU appears to be okay for now. Temp is remaining below 50degrees throughout 2 games. Will post later in the week to see if this has...

Yeah all uncapped FPS on those games. Rocket League is definetly the worst one. I have tried lowering the clock speed and changing the power limit to 80% for rocket league on MSI Afterburner but still same issue.

It's only happening with certain games e.g Rocket League (Unreal engine) Hell Let Loose (Also Unreal Engine) and Skyrim so far. The new call of duty has been running perfectly fine for long sessions 3+hours and RDR2 for similar sessions. Just seems a bit inconsistent with games.
