    Hi. I had problems with this made a cfg file in my bf1 folder and locked the fps to 60fps... worked for me. I had problems with refresh rate. So put vsync on. Runs like a dream.. had terrible problems on amiens - now works great

    Advice on overclocking i5 4690k

    sounds like you got same up as me (in terms CPU, MOBO, Cooler) - ive used the Tweak software that comes with the gigabyte board to overclock mine, easy and simple to use.

    don't know great deal about AMD Cpu's but GPU swap to a GTX1060 would be a big jump!

    no problem then mate - i know how these things can slowly creap up and before you know it its £1000 stick with what you got its good enough. (ive recently upgraded from an I5 2400 - I5 3570K - not worth the £150 in my opinion but i only did it because i got it for £25)

    every online shop i found is cheaper in some places than others, i have had some real bargains on Amazon. (but i like Amazon :)) but like Logain said, i would consider Intel - even a lower end I5 is better than the FX6300

    What about if he changes his cpu to a 3rd gen that supports 1600mhz and puts it in his 2nd gen board? I have done this recently and altho my board only supports 1333 it seems to be running at 1600? biy confused
