    I have happen to have a laptop which has 2gb ram and a core duo t5750 processor clocked at 2.00ghz with 2 cores. I wanted to add an extra 2gb ram to the laptop but I dont know if the cpu can handle it or not. Any answer is appreciated!

    We happen to have a Samsung SyncMaster SA100 that can handle all the big resolutions we tested on a gtx 750ti computer. But i just found out that the refresh rate of the ghost laptop screen was 49.27hz and it was also a "Recommended" refresh rate. Could it be the hz or the resolution...

    Sounds like something is near the fan blades and makes that sound. If it wasn't that then your fan is in need of replacing.

    One of the hinge is missing. Do you have it? edit: Nevermind I see the hinge. It's just the case popping out. Try to unplug the display and push in the popped out case.

    Yes the monitor supports 1366x768 60hz max and then my bios maxed its resolution to 2048x1536 which is unviewable for me.

    If you hooked up an external keyboard then control the brightness of your laptop from there or use windows's built in brightness control.

    If you have another computer or your friend has one, remove your dead laptop's hard drive, install Rufus and install a live version of Ubuntu to your flash drive (if you have one or your friends have one)

    The monitor does support 1280x800, it just does not support higher resolutions like 1920x1080 or 2048x1536
