    I recently made a thread on advice of getting rid of a virus, someone recommended that I got a new harddrive and a clean installation of windows then get some antivirus to scan the other one. So I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a drive like a 16gb ssd just for the os.

    I was wondering if I got a new hard drive then got a clean install of windows on it, but kept my old one would I be able to leave them both in so I can transfer files from the old one to the new one without the virus injecting it self into the new one? If not any suggestions?
