    GTX 960 idle temperature keeps rising upto 55C

    Found the Solution - I cleaned my computer using CCleaner, some 880mb removed and magically the temperature drops down to 37C haha not sure what happenned but glad it did. Would love an explanation though. Thanks to all who helped!

    Still under warranty, I can live with the gaming temperature but idle bothers me abit. @bishopi5 and extreametech, mine before today used to idle around 38..speaking of today, it did rain a lot last couple of days, could this be a factor for high idle temp? I just hope this has nothing to do...

    GTX 960 idle temperature keeps rising upto 55C

    My ASUS GTX 960 suddenly started heating from 33C to 55C within a few minutes. This is really unusual as it usually constants around 35-37C idle. The card is in fine condition as I service it regularly. Apart from my GPU, everything else is running fine as before. What should I do?
