    just to be clear, does this problem happen outside your home?, because you said that you came home after installing and testing your new PSU somewhere else, and the problem returned, try moving the system to another socket in your home without the surge protector.

    ive had random shutdowns before that was caused by a faulty power button, does it shut down instantly like if someone pulled the cord?, since you mentioned that the problem starts when you return home, are you using a surge protector, power splitter or an extension cord?

    The q300l is not the best case for thermal performance, i would try a "negative" cooling setup (more exhaust fans than intake fans), keeping the case fully open is not the best thing for cooling. Im guessing the 2070 is used, what temperatures is it reaching?
