Did a fresh install of 8.1 and updated the bios to newest version, also I think thats factory overclocked from 4.0mhz, i havent touched anything.

Well wouldn't it cause huge problems and a waste of money if I cant get anywhere near 144+ FPS? in my main game im playing right now? If I enabled vysnc wouldnt it just cap it at 60fps? Im unsure how these high refresh rate monitors actually work. Im just worried about really bad screen tearing...
