    No, don't even touch the Raidmax. Get something like a Corsair CX600. Raidmax PSU's are tier 5 power supplies which means that they will most likely fail and damage your system when put under load.

    Alternatives to a 7950

    Check out a GTX 670. A well overclocked GTX 670 will have GTX 680 performance. Also the 670 is faster at stock than the 7950 and the 7970.
