[SOLVED] Ryzen r5 3600+All games crashing

Actually, the OS was not on that drive, just the games I installed. But installing the games to a different drive stopped the freezing and crashing. I guess if the OS was installed on that drive there could have been further issues. Also try this...

Question How Much Should You Back Up Your Data and What is the Likelihood of Drive Failure?

I've been backing up my photos and videos for the last 20 years. At first I used CD-Rs, then DVD-Rs. Now I back up a complete copy of everything on an external HDD + BD-R + Cloud storage.

[SOLVED] Ultra M.2 NVMe vs Sata SSD for gaming?

I'm wondering if it would be better to use an NVMe SSD or a standard Sata SSD to run games off of on this motherboard. The confusing this is the Asrock Ultra M.2 socket. I've heard that this "Ultra" feature may somehow gimp your GPU as it uses some of the PCI express lanes? Or is that wrong...

[SOLVED] SSD causing games to freeze

Tried putting it in that "sata hotplug" setting as I read elsewhere it might help, but the PC just crashed and the monitor went blank. Never did that before. At this point I'm thinking that this SSD is just incompatible with an AM4 system. It hasn't had a new bios update for years. I guess I...

The only option I can see in the bios is to change from ACHI to IDE . It's on ACHI. Other than that there is a "sata hotplug" option that is disabled. I did not reformat the drive for the new system. The only thing installed on the drive was Steam and its games. Steam itself seems to work fine...

[SOLVED] Getting freezing issues in games with new build. Tried everything.

So... the max temp in Prime 95 stayed around 73 degrees. The Heaven benchmark seems to run fine on extreme running at about 70fps average. So... Does this mean my PC is fine? The game that's giving me the most issues at the moment is GTA5. It doesn't happen too often, but the game keeps...
