with the latest APU 7850k, what you want is not faster ram but lower CAS, and you only want Dual channel, (no quad channel support from AMD yet, sigh), AMD loves lower CAS count! as it is, according to sources anything over 2133Mhz is a waste, they don't have the support for it (i think) better...

Do you have CPU-ID installed, if so is your computer still registering both sticks of ram? cause if its not could either be a dead ramstick or a dead slot, you might want to try change the slots they are in just to test them out, if problem persists, install 1 ram stick at a time and start it up...
