Just got done with my new custom build, and when I press the power switch, its like a small flicker of life before the whole system dies again. If I didn't notice the small movement I would've thought that the power switch was the problem, but then I saw that everything would turn on for a split...

that is probably the most unhelpful thing you could have replied with; how am i supposed to start over when i can't ever turn on the system reliably and i haven't been able to get back into the install wizard??
