    Low Clock Speed

Sorry for the late reply. If the multiplier is 12, that multiplies by the 100MHz base clock frequency. Try setting the multiplier back to 37 since that's the base frequency multiplier.

    Newbie PC Build

So you'd most likely be wanting the Z370 chipset motherboards for around ~$100-$200. This allows you to squeeze more performance out of your CPU via overclocking unlike other overclocking incompatible motherboards. Depending on if you have a storage drive already from another computer, I'd say...

    Low Clock Speed

Is that 1.2GHz frequency under load or is it during idle run time? CPUs will typically not use the maximum rated frequency when doing simple tasks such as web or file browsing, and task manager usually reflects this. However, this doesn't change the fact that 1.2GHz is pretty low regardless. Do...

I can use my wifi connection in any gadgets I have .. EXCEPT my PC

If your PC was reformatted, make sure to reinstall any drivers associated with your network adapters. These can be found under device manager (Windows Key+X then M). Check your network adapters, and update any that are listed.

    Gaming build for around £500

https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jHzbLJ This build is a little tight on the budget. It's just a little over £500, but it has a dedicated GPU and overclocking capabilities. [PCPartPicker part list](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jHzbLJ) / [Price breakdown by...

After overclocking CPU, Pc turn on > turn off > then turn on it self again and working fine

Usually what this means is that your motherboard is failing to provide enough power to the CPU to properly run the overclock at the specified frequencies. If it turns on again, that means the CPU is still okay, but the overclock settings failed, and depending on your BIOS, the new overclock...

New pc build, red pc led and dram lights alternating every couple of seconds

Have you tried clearing the CMOS? There should be a two-pin header right above/next to your front panel headers. Touch the two pins together with a paperclip, a wire, or, even better, pin jumpers. This should clear out any extraneous processes your CPU might have encountered and put into a...

I'm stuck with an OEM gaming system. UPGRADE, SELL or what?

Everything should run much better if you just had better temperatures. You could just upgrade to an AIO CPU cooler with a 120mm radiator (that's really all you have space for). This should improve airflow at least a little bit with a radiator fan blowing out the back and keeping CPU temps down...

My GPU seems to fail when I leave Windows 10 in sleep mode for extended periods of time

Your GPU may be overheating or it may not be getting started up properly after your PC goes to sleep mode. The latter may be cause by improperly supplying power to the VGA after the PC stops using it. The PCIe power cable is plugged in to it, correct?

    RAM upgrade question

Since you already have a 2x4gb kit, another 2x4gb kit should suffice. As a reminder, it's always better to have matching ram sticks per pair or even better to have a matching set of 4. If you go with another 2x4gb kit, be sure to pay attention to the frequency and timings of it.

No sound after installing graphics card

Which output are you using? Usually Windows will set the default audio output to the HDMI device. Try updating the drivers for both the graphics card and the internal audio devices.

    any advice from the pros?

Everything listed is very high-tier all the way even down to the case. There aren't really any tight bottlenecks. However, if you can afford the Samsung 960 EVO, I suggest just getting the new 970 EVO at the same price. This is unless you're recycling the 960 EVO from an older build. I'd also...
