Been a little bit, but yeah. I tried switching out the PSU and RAM just for safe measure. Turns out I actually wasn't giving the RAM all the push it deserved, but even after being properly seated I couldn't get video from this mobo. Traded out for the Asus x99-a and so far all's well.

Oh, something I neglected to mention that may be important: my keyboard has lights that turn on when it's plugged in, but no matter what usb port I'm using (either the two on the case itself or any of the 8 on the back that are part of the mobo) it won't turn on. Does that suggest anything to you?

Let me clarify, I've used just one stick on every slot and every configuration of swapping around the two, it's just in the end that I left them on A1 and B1. I will try to pick up a case speaker later today and try that out.
