The card also works in every other aspect with the windows drivers installed it just won't install nvidia drivers

well i did get it from ebay but it came in the original box and has all the original stickers for bios and everything else on the back. It also has the correct cooler for the card. I used gpu-z and the bios matched the one on the back of the card.

I tried installing the windows 8 drivers and it did nothing

have a new pc i put together everything works great untill i try and install windows 7 then the mouse and keyboard stop working would install windows 10 but don't want to spend the money and am not a big fan of windows 10 please help.

I think it's the motherboard now it turns out i was using the older cpu all along i tried with the core 2 duo to make sure that the cpu wasn't the problem, so i believe it is the mobo, i mean i guess you get what you pay for on ebay.

True i was kinda working on a budget i have a much better build in mind i'm just saving till I can buy the parts for it, this was cheap and will work for what I want it too for now.

I have another cpu that uses bios 0202 that will work in the socket so i'll try and updatee bios with that cpu in.

It uses dvi-d But I have an adapter that makes it vga, I think that might be the problem. I'm going to test it with another computer.
