So I did run a stress test for about an hour and highest temp was 65C running at 3.375 GHz. Would you say that is within normal range?

Hello, thanks for your reply. Room temp is around 20C to 25C. I haven't run a stress test since I was getting temps up to 46C by doing nothing. From what I've seen online I was expecting temps under 30C. Could it be that it starts cooling more once the cpu temps go higher?

I got yesterday my new NZXT Kraken cooler and was disappointed to my temps not changing much from my stock cooler. Without any overclocking, running at 3.20 GHz, even when I'm just on desktop doing nothing with 5% utilisation the liquid temp is at 31C. Not sure if that's good or not but I saw...

I used the "Reset this PC" option in the Recovery tab in the windows settings. Would you sagest reinstalling them from usb/dvd? I tried to avoid that so I would save time on backing up things. But could try if you believe there is a small chance that simple recovery may be causing the issue...
