Yeah , I have had such bad experience with Origin. Currently I've got a 16Mbps package and it maxes out on Steam (currently downloading Metro Last Light). I used to get the discs for the games if I felt impatient :)

So we just converted from Orange's broadband to EE's fibre optic , the speed is at 38Mbps. Now , I've just been told that MBps and Mbps are totally different. So how many megabytes will I be downloading per second?

applied the thermal paste in a cross instead of spreading it , putting a dot in the middle or just a line. Turns out that Arctic Cooling recommend using a line in the middle of Ivybridge CPU's , thought I'd be safe and go with a cross :) Thanks for the help though...

Yeah.. everything is running at 40 degrees now :l Pissed off with this h80.

My room isn't particularly hot , I've not got any sort of thermometer to measure the temperature of it. I live in the UK , it's quite cold outside and my room is the coldest in the house.. how I like it. When I first had my h80i installed , it beat the temps of my i5 stock cooler on idle.. now...

If it helps , I used White spirit to clean the copper block on the h80i and the cpu.. my father used all the Isoprophyl alcohol.. amazing spelling. I'll have to buy some more thermal paste and ill try your method of smearing it on with a card. I'll also test different amounts on an old i3 , i'll...

I've heard bad things about using a card to spread it round , I remember something of off TekSyndicate about letting the heat spread it itself. :/
