Does OBS like hypertheading or more cores

I can't find anything that compares the 2 CPUs directly but inferring from the results from testing linked below OBS looks like it slightly prefers thread count at a similar clock speed but is more dependent on raw speed. Since the 2 CPUs are so close in clock speeds out of the box I would...

[SOLVED] New pc build Rtx 2070

It depends on the game, but yes, it should be VERY capable @ 1080/1440p.

[SOLVED] 60-70c load temperature on 9600k/CM 212 Evo. Normal?

The temps seem a little high (maybe 5c at most), but not outlandish. The 9600k is a 95W CPU vs the 3570k which was a 77W CPU. That's a significant amount of extra heat to dissipate. That being said, 72c isn't going to be doing any real harm to the CPU. It shouldn't even really throttle below 80c.

When building how to power on and test before fully installing everything?

The idea is to completely assemble the components outside of the case to be able to more easily test. If the system fails to start when fully put together you are much more able to remove parts one by one, testing to see if a single one causes the failure. If you put everything into the case...

Can my PSU support a gtx 1080 ti?

Technically? Yes it can power the card. I probably wouldn't myself considering what a quick search of the web turns up regarding that PSU.

Why my monitor is doing this?

If it does this on more than 1 computer and all inputs then it's almost certainly the control board for the display in the monitor itself. Most likely it won't be worth repairing unless you want to do it yourself. Most shops will charge you more than the monitor is worth to repair it unless it's...

Proofread my new (gaming) PC build for any issues?

Sorry, didn't see the reply until just now. CPU temps are in the 65-70c range under full load depending on ambient temps, and roughly 33c at idle. As for the GPU, I'm running a GTX 1080, but that doesn't really affect my system temps since the case I'm using separates the GPU from the rest of...

Proofread my new (gaming) PC build for any issues?

I don't have any experience with the Cryorig cooler, but it has a max TDP of 100w which should be plenty. I'm running a 6600K @ 4.5GHz with a Noctua NH-L9i (only 65w TDP) in a SilverStone RAVEN RVZ02B which doesn't have the most amazing airflow and still maintain solid temps.

dell inspiron 7570 overheating issue. Is it the heat-sink?

Definitely try dealing with Amazon / the seller before trying anything. Quite a few of these sellers are solid when it comes to making sure you're happy with the item since they live and die by reviews. If you're ok with taking the system apart yourself I'd recommend checking for dust buildup...

WoW fps is lower than expected with my new set-up.

Double check the resolution scaling in the advanced graphics options. Last time I installed WoW it was set to double resolution by default for some reason. You should have no issue with the game running at that resolution maxed out with that build. I'm running a GTX 1080 @ 4k and rarely dip...

    Comfortable Headphones under 200?

The best headphones I've found, assuming you're using a separate mic for streaming or are willing to add an Antlion mic or the like, would be the Audio-Technica ATH-M50x. I have quite the large melon myself (8 3/8 to 8 1/2 hat size) and they've been super comfy for long sessions and have great...

Upgrading Mobo and CPU without formatting

Very true, but over a couple of hundred Windows 7 reformats I think I've seen only one that was a UEFI install.

Upgrading Mobo and CPU without formatting

On Windows 7 it's a complete crap-shoot as to whether it will work. The change in the main chipset has the highest chance of being what causes Windows to fail to boot after the upgrade. Also make sure to change the BIOS to Legacy boot mode. The Win7 install is almost certainly not UEFI. If...

    Low fps on WoW

One thing to check in your settings is the Render Scale (under Advanced Settings). For some reason it is set to 200% by default which does a great job of reducing aliasing, but it will tank your framerate. If it isn't that then I would look into drivers or possibly temperature issues. With...
