Alright, I will test with another GPU. If it turns out to be the GPU, what are my options of getting rid of the GPU? It is definitely out of warranty since I bought it 2 years ago. Do I recycle it or could I sell it since it is still functioning normally only if it is not used to play games?

Alright guys good news I managed to fix the problem, the whole time I had been connecting the cpu power connector on the wrong side. It is clear I'm a damn idiot... Thank you all for digging in with fast responses and trying to help me solve the problem!!

I took the Mobo out and tested it and still no success. I connected all the cables tightly except the front panel ones which I decided to jumpstart the pc with a screwdriver and heard electric static noise go through the psu but still nothing.

I noticed there is a 8-pin ATX 12V power socket on the new motherboard, whereas on my old mobo, it had a 4-pin ATX 12V power connector. How do I connect the power to the cpu in this situation?
