    Q6600 running VERY slow

Could be a failing hard drive, but it's also possible yyou're running into thermal issues. check CPU, GPU and all the other temperatures you can read out.

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

Haven't seen a similar problem so far. Perhaps a mining malware that uses you computer to do mining on your PC for someone else? And perhaps the Tool suspends itself when TM is opnened to hide itself from being discovered? In that case, reinstalling the system should resolve the problem. But...

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

that's very strange behaviour... did you install the newest chipset drivers from MSI yet? Perhaps also try only opening one monitoring program at once if you haven't already, they might interfere with each other.

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

100% CPU usage on 5 of 6 cores at idle?! Something's very off here! Did you check in the Task Manager yet? Take a look at whether there's a process with high CPU usage. I'd guess you got a program that's going haywire there.

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

Yes. Follow this procedure when changing the thermal paste: Clean both the heatsink and the CPU with a towel or paper dipped in alcohol. Make sure both surfaces are perfectly clean for best results. (Also, don't put your hands on these surfaces after cleaning them) After that, apply the...

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

Uhm, did you put the cooler back on with the "old" thermal paste after checking it? If yes, then it's no surprise, as then there are probably some air bubbles enclosed within that paste from when you put it back on. Air transfers heat horribly, and thus the temps would rise.

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

Fan curve looks ok. If you only get down to 39°C at 100% fan speed, there's definitely something wrong...

[SOLVED] I5-8600K - High temperatures even in default setup, cooling system not assembled correctly?

Is the CPU fan plugged into the CPU_FAN header on the mainboard? (name of the header might very slightly) In the BIOS/UEFI, what fan curve or fan profile is set? Maybe it's set to something like "silent". You could also get a software like Speedfan (or software from MSI, if they offer any for...

NZXT Kraken x62 push and pull possible in Phanteks Eclipse P300 Tempered case? And help with components to workstation.

First question that arises: Why a Quadro GPU? Are you actually going to do professional 3D work with it? Anyways, on to your question: Yes, the Kraken X62 should fit, but only in the front. Push & pull might get pretty close though, the motherboard or the cables connected to it might get in the...

Which Cpu Is Compatible For This Build?

Technically it would be upgradable, yes. However, the cooling solution of your device might not be able to handle a more powerful CPU. Also, many manufacturers don't support any other CPU models on their laptops, so unless there's something like a cracked/unlocked BIOS for your system, it might...

R5 1600 abnormally high on idle at 60°c

Is the cooler properly mounted and sitting tight on the CPU? My 1600 tends to spike temps in idle when openeing applications, but these spikes are very short and the temps go back down after a few seconds. It shouldn't stay that high constantly.

Do I really need to build a mew system ?

What keith said. For more gaming performance, just upgrading the GPU should be sufficient, the 3570K should still be more than capable.
