Hello, I'm going to buy 140hz monitor and switch Microsoft surface Pro 2 on it. There is written that pro 2 supports only 60 hz with 3440x1440 monitors. So, will 60hz on a 144hz monitor supposed to look normal and smooth without any problems? (will use it only for browsing and watching movies)

Do you stream YouTube at 4K when using an ultrawide monitor (3440x1440)? YouTube sert to auto defaults to 1440p, however, there are extra pixels going to waste at that resolution compared with a 2560x1440 monitor right? I'm not even sure it makes much of difference IRL, and videos stream faster...
