Hi, i just purchased a 1660 Super and I have an old PSU from around 2015. It only has a 6 pin which was running a 1650 Super prior to this. My question is, is it safe to use a 6 to 8 pin adapter or should i just get a new psu? And what would be the recommended wattage? Processor: i5-12400 Mobo...

i have a a slightly used dell t5500 875w psu it has 2 cpu 8pin n 2 pcie 6pin so whats better 8pin eps to 8pin pcie adapter vs 2x6pin to 1x8pin pcie adapter also in the future i plan to install a gpu that requires 1x8pin n 1x6pin

I do have a HP z640 which currently runs TitanX Pascal with one 6pin and 8pin power connectors. I use a 6pin to 8pin converter for the 8pin one. It also has a 925W PSU which, I assume, is enough for handling 3090. The only constraint is that 3090 asks for 2-8pin connectors with max 375W...

So i have dual 6 pin in my psu but it is in 1 cable wire only. I need to use proper adapter for my safety of the components. It is safe to use dual 6 pin to power the 8pin?

Can i buy a cable so that i can use the psu on the gfx card or do i need a new psu because it doesnt have enough cables coming out of it? Thanks in advance :)
