    Hi, i just purchased a 1660 Super and I have an old PSU from around 2015. It only has a 6 pin which was running a 1650 Super prior to this.     So i have dual 6 pin in my psu but it is in 1 cable wire only. I need to use proper adapter for my safety of the components. It is safe to use dual 6 pin to power the 8pin?

    [SOLVED] Im looking to buy a rx 590 but on the website it says it needs a 6pin +8pin connection. I only have a 6pin right now on my 550W power supply.

    Can i buy a cable so that i can use the psu on the gfx card or do i need a new psu because it doesnt have enough cables coming out of it? Thanks in advance :)

    I just got a used RX 580 from my dad and when I went to install it I saw it uses 8 pin and my PSU only has 2x6 pin.
