I bought computer at auction and it has no OS. If I bought another one with windows 7, could I make the drive with widows 7 a master and slave the other hard drive without operating system. Thank you

I need a 770 gtx , right now I can get three games at newegg splinter cell, batman and one other, I planned to buy next week or the week after at best assuming prices might drop after the holidays, do you think they'll have the same deal or better in the next two weeks or should I jump on it now?
