Asus P5N-D

I changed out my very old E7500 with a q9650 core 2 quad. Window's 10 wont boot up it crashes. I'm able to get into the bios once but on a reboot I just get a black screen. The Pc does post. I've tried all the stuff one trys. I've put in the latest bios and reset the mobo. I know the Cpu works...
